Volkan Hamamcıoğlu

He graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Yıldız Technical University in 2007 and completed his master’s degree there in 2010. He began his career as a Patent Engineer at Arçelik A.S. in 2011, later becoming the Patent Team Leader from 2016-2021. He became a Turkish Patent and Trademark Attorney in 2011 and a European Patent Attorney in 2018.

He holds a University Diploma in "Patent Litigation in Europe" from the University of Strasbourg and is a registered representative before the Unified Patent Court (UPC). Between 2019 and 2022, he worked as a coach for the European Patent Office’s Candidate Support Project and as a technical expert before Istanbul's Intellectual Property Courts. He currently serves as a tutor at the Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office (epi) and lectures at Istanbul Bilgi University. He is also a Council Member at epi.
