Uğur Aktekin joined Gün + Partners in 1999 and has been a partner since 2003. He co-chairs the firm's Intellectual Property (IP) and Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) practices. His practice primarily focuses on trademarks, designs, and copyrights.

He has participated as a speaker, moderator, and instructor in various national and international events, including notable engagements with WIPO, INTA, IBA, FICPI and GALA.
